PGR Development is pleased to announce that the University Poster Day 2013 will take place on Thursday, 11th of April 2013 between 9am and 3pm in the central atrium of the University of Liverpool’s new Central Teaching Laboratories (CTL). This annual research event is open to the public and features 270 individual postgraduate research poster presentations drawn from all disciplines across the Institution.
PGR Development hereby invites second year full-time and third or fourth year part-time Research Postgraduate Students to register for participation on Spider, under the code APPR002.
Students more advanced into their PhD, who have not yet completed this part of the PGR Development Programme, are particularly urged to register for participation as soon as possible.
The Participant Registration Deadline is Monday, 18th February 2013.
Students who cannot attend on the day, may consider participation at Poster Day Online instead. Poster Day Online will run from 8th April to 29th April 2013. For further details please visit our website at http://www.liv.ac.uk/pgr-development/poster-day/.
In addition to the benefits of developing presentation and communication skills for Postgraduate Researchers, the Poster Day event also encourages an interdisciplinary dialogue and opens new routes for collaboration. As a knowledge exchange event, it helps Postgraduate Researchers enhance their research by providing opportunities to exchange ideas and views with fellow researchers, University staff, policy makers and the wider public in a friendly and supportive environment.
Below you can view pictures from successful previous events, held in Mountford Hall, Liverpool Guild of Students in recent years.
Further information on Poster Day 2013, including details on poster presentation workshops, event guidelines and online resources will be available on PGR website in due course.
We wish you all the best in your research endeavours and look forward to meeting you on 11th of April !
